Bonjour!! On Tuesday, March 4th, Sarah Smith will celebrate our version of Mardi Gras!! Thank you for your support of this fun day and for the Mardi Gras T-shirt fundraiser.
Through the sale of the Mardi Gras t-shirts, we give approximately $2,000 dollars annually to our sister school in Haiti. This money provides direct support to the school lunch program at Ecole St. Croix on the impoverished island of La Gonave. Every dollar is stretched and helps provide what is often the only meal the students eat that day.
The t-shirt cost is $10 and close to half will go toward the lunch program. Student shirts will be on sale at both campuses at the end of February. If you would like a 2014 Mardi Gras t-shirt, please purchase by tomorrow morning in the lobby of the PC.
