 Pajama Day!!!

 

To celebrate the start of our annual Read-A-Thon (RAT), we will be having a school-wide pajama day tomorrow. Please make sure that students come to school dressed in their PJ's and pack their book bags with many of their favorite books (books that can be read independently). We will be reading all day (independently, in small groups, and w/parent readers). Thanks to all who volunteered to help make tomorrow fun for our students! Here are a few reminders: 

• Do not send lunch or money tomorrow. Students will be having a pizza lunch in the classroom. 
• We will have a waffle breakfast in the morning.
• Students need athletic shoes for recess, but slippers in the classroom is okay. 
• Remember to always keep your yellow RAT books in red folders at all times (for the duration of the RAT). Parent volunteers will visit to room to count minutes and award prizes. If the book is missing, we'll have nothing to count.
