Field Trip Reminder: Atlanta History Center
Tuesday, May 1st
Purpose: The purpose of the trip is to give our students the opportunity to see what everyday life was like for our ancestors, and to compare and contrast to their own lives. To learn more about the AHC, logon to http://www.atlantahistorycenter.com Atlanta Public School buses will begin loading at 9:30 am and will return by 1:30 pm.
Parents:
- Children should arrive on time to school as they will be leaving by 9:30.
- Children are highly encouraged to wear a Sarah Smith Field Trip t-shirt and sneakers.
- Children should bring a sack lunch and drink with their name on the front.
- Children should also bring their regular snack and a recyclable/disposable water bottle.
- Kids are asked to leave all electronic toys and cash at home (no gift shop visit).
- Kids are asked to be respectful of safety rules during the bus ride.
