SSEF Needs You:
Thank you for all you've done to make this first quarter great. One quick reminder - if you haven't had a chance to make your gift to the SSEF Annual Fund, please consider making a donation today. 100% of the teachers have given this year! If you want to know why I gave, feel free to ask me at our conference or email me. SSEF funds the following programs:
October 31st:
On Monday, October 31, students may dress up as their favorite storybook character (no masks or bring a weapons with costumes - no swords, guns, etc..). Also, we can share healthy treats on this day rather than candy (think about the treats you've been providing for snack time daily).
Media Center Books:
As students checkout books and bring them home to read, please remember to have them place books in their bags before returning to school the next day (students may be bring the same book home for several days). Since we don't have weekly media center or AR quiz schedules, having the books ready in student book bags would help students when we have time in class to take quizzes. This will also help our media specialist, Ms. Gillogly, when we visit the media center to return books.
