Vol. 1 Issue 4

• Thanks for sending hand sanitizer today! This supply should last for a while.
• IB Project Photograph: Remember to send a photograph of your family (each member of the immediate family - doesn't need to be formal) to use for an inquiry discussion and writing project. Your picture will be returned. Picture due by Monday, 8/15/11.
• As soon as the Room Parents are announced, I'll update our blog's Meet the Room Parents page. If you are selected, please email me a short bio/narrative and a picture. I'll use these to create the post.
• Again, we don't have homework this week, but ask your children about Today's Number (10). Ask them to show you 3 different ways to reach this number. This does not need to be turned in tomorrow. I just wanted to give you feel for what our what our daily math discussions look like.
• You'll find a clinic card in your child's homework folder today. Please return this as soon as possible.

I want to thank you all for your the kind words, gestures of goodwill, and support you've given me as I made my transition to Sarah R. Smith Elementary this week. I appreciate all that you do.
