Vol. 4 Issue 24

The Atlanta History Center
The purpose of the trip was to give our students the opportunity to see what everyday life was like for our ancestors, and to compare and contrast to their own lives. This trip served as a connection to our current IB unit, Heroes. As we learn about our history and heroes of the past, students made connections to their experiences during this trip.

We Can Be Heroes!
As a culminating activity to our latest IB unit, on March 27, our first graders dressed as their heroes and walked in our Heroes Parade!
